About Us

It was started in 1992 by a group of volleyball players as a weekend outing on Cape Cod. While beach volleyball is an integral part of the weekend, you do not have to play volleyball to enjoy a weekend on the Cape. GCEr's enjoy the beach, bike trail, shopping, restaurants, and the company of a large group of fun people.

Like any group event many people already know each other....but the veterans are very welcoming to the newcomers and many lasting friendships are forged at the GCE.
